Lake 6 will be closed for a private charity match this Saturday 20th October.  All others lakes will remain open as usual.

Many thanks.

Lake 7 closed for a private charity match this Saturday (22nd September 2018), in aid of The Rosemary Appeal.

All other lakes are open as normal.

The lakes are open with immediate effect (Friday 5.30pm).  Night fishing is available and they will be open as normal from tomorrow.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused during the closure, but we had to take necessary precautions.

Following on from a fire on Youngs Industrial Estate, the lakes are closed until further notice, as a substance was washed into the lakes.  We are expecting to make a decision Friday 7th September as to whether we can reopen the lakes, once water test results come in from the EA and Thames Water.  Please see our facebook page or visit our website for further updates.

Thank you for your patience.

Lake 6 will be closed next weekend Sat 30th June 8am – Sunday 1st July 2018 8pm for a closed event.  We are hosting a Relaunch Session to announce our new name and logo.  Bex Nelson, social blogger and Urban Bait Consultant, will be fishing with 11 yr old Ellen Hicks and joined by Seven Lakes bailiffs. Food prepared by Jason Sandiford of Chef-UK-Carp.  All other lakes will remain open as usual.  Come along and say hello.

The lakes are now open for the summer until 10pm every night.

They are looking good and settling in nicely after all the refurbishment work that was done last year.

Come down and see how it’s fishing.

With Carp up to 23lb and specimen Perch up to 4lb in Lake 6.  Lake 7 is a runs water with Carp up to 10lb.  Lake 3 with Tench & Crucian’s (coming Feb) the de-snagged and improved Seven Lakes Angling is a great place for some winter fishing.

Lake 1 is open for Pike fishing, Lake 2 is our Perch pit, with Rudd and Roach.

Lake 4 & 5 remain stock lakes and are currently closed to fishing.

With all the refubishment work completed on de-snagging, bank restoration and marginal planting the final job was to move the stock fish into their new homes in lake 6 & 7.

This was completed on Monday 8th & Tuesday 9th Jan which means the lakes can now re-open for fishing.

With over 160 Carp under 10lb in Lake 7 and approx 300 Carp up to 23lb in Lake 6, along with Perch, Roach & Rudd in both, we are reopening the lakes for business.

Come and see what has been acheived over the last few months and dip your rod in the water.

More information can be found on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/sevenlakesangling

With stocks of fish moved as part of our lakes refurbishment and extremely mild weather for this time of year, the oxygen levels have dropped on Lake 4 & 5 so to avoid further stress to the fish whilst we aerate the lakes, we have decided to close the fishery.
Sorry for any inconvenience, but we hope that you understand the fish welfare comes first.

From 11 September 2017.

Volunteers wanted.

As part of our commitment to improve the fishing, Lakes 6 & 7 will see some major improvement works over the next few months starting with tree clearance from 11th September.  Both lakes will then be drained down with fish netted and removed before contractors come in and de-snag them.  Repairs will be made to the banks, followed by marginal planting and then the lakes will be ready for restocking with existing and new stocks of fish.

Volunteers are required when we net the lakes to help with netting, weighing, counting, grading, moving and photographing/videoing.  Dates include 28/29th September and 13/16/17 October.  If you would like to help with any of these elements, please contact us on 0118 940 8500.
